Workshop Facilitator and EPBC Case Manager
My career with INEO Employment Services began in 2005 on a casual basis as receptionist and workshop facilitator. Today you will find me facilitating full time on a variety of employment related topics. I enjoy the challenge and the excitement of my job. An added bonus is the wealth of knowledge I gain from the participants who bring their life experience to the workshops.
I was born and raised in the wonderful Alberni Valley. After graduating from high school I moved down Island to work in the customer service industry, before returning to Port Alberni to continue my education at North Island College. In June of 2000 I completed the Human Service Worker, Social Service Program and graduated on the Dean’s Honour Roll.
My professional career began as a Community Support Worker where I stayed until the birth of my second child in 2007. My job consisted of twelve hour shifts, supporting individuals with developmental and physical disabilities, by providing assistance with daily living activities, personal care, and community inclusion.
I believe in the power of the mind – Change your mind set, change your life.
