Megan: Group Facilitator for the Step YA Program
A proud Port Alberni local, Megan brings a wealth of experience in education and community involvement to her role at INEO.
From volunteering with her school PAC and managing youth sports teams to working as an Education Assistant, Megan’s journey has been fueled by her passion for supporting and empowering others.
She holds a Health Care Assistant Certificate (2016) and a Human Service Worker Certificate (2022), both earned with Dean’s Honors from NIC.
Megan’s expertise includes crisis intervention, substance use awareness, and self-care strategies, making her a valued member of the INEO team since September 2024.
Beyond her professional achievements, Megan is an adventurer at heart. Whether she’s camping by the ocean, exploring back roads with a bonfire, or diving into her love of all things Disney, she brings joy and enthusiasm to everything she does.
Megan is deeply committed to fostering inclusion, particularly for the LGBTQ+ community, and is dedicated to creating spaces where everyone feels seen, valued, and heard.
Her certifications include Standard and Psychological First Aid, Non-Violent Crisis Intervention, ASL Level 1, and more, highlighting her dedication to ongoing learning and service.
