“Anyone who stops learning is old, whether at twenty or eighty. Anyone who keeps learning stays young.”
― Henry Ford
Trish Lapointe was her Case Manager: “She’s been ever so helpful. When I started (working), it was three days a week… We did the Building Service course 1, 2 and 3. So, we learned about cleaning, hard floors… It was wonderful! I didn’t think I was going to make it through, but I got this job here. I clean the bathrooms, I do the kitchen area… and there is a big foyer upstairs…”
She had other nine students in her group and even if she struggled with personal issues and is a more hands on learner, her instructor was very proud of her because she “passed with flying colors.”
#INEO not only provided her with shoes and a couple of scrubs for her Job Start but she also counted on Kimberly Crowley for her interview preparation three days before meeting the manager at Slammers.
Recently, Debbie came to visit her former Case Manager Trish to give her more good news: “I don’t want to take up too much of your time. I just want to let you know that now I work five days a week. She (Trish) said: ‘that’s fantastic! I’ve just closed your file.’
And that was another #INEO happy ending!
I love everybody there up at INEO: Janice, Kim, Terry… It’s a wonderful place to go!”
